Welcome to the SCF Church Discipleship Course Mobile App (“App”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the App, and form a binding agreement between you (“you”, “your”, or “User”) and Springfield Christian Family Church (“SCF Church”, “we”, “our”).
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.
App: The mobile application provided by SCF Church for its discipleship course, including all content, features, functions, and services therein.
Content: All materials provided through the App, including text, audio, video, quizzes, course modules, images, graphics, devotional materials, and any other content.
User / You: Any individual who downloads, accesses, or uses the App.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.
You agree to use the App in compliance with all applicable laws.
Some features of the App may require you to create an account. You are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
All Content is owned by SCF Church or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property rights.
Subject to these Terms, SCF Church grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Content solely for personal, non-commercial discipleship study.
You agree not to:
Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
Copy, modify, distribute, republish, upload, post, or transmit any Content (except as explicitly permitted).
Rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, or sublicense the Content.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App.
Remove any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices.
Use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.
You agree that SCF Church may collect, store, and process your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.
If there are any fees for accessing certain content or services (premium modules, etc.), those fees will be clearly stated in the App.
All payments are final unless otherwise stated.
The Content is provided for spiritual growth, discipleship, and educational purposes only. It is not intended as professional counselling, therapy, or legal or medical advice.
While we aim for accuracy and up-to-date content, we make no guarantees that the Content is error-free, complete, or always current.
To the extent permitted by law, SCF Church, its directors, staff, volunteers, partners, or licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, or inability to use it. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the App shall not exceed the amount you have paid for access (if any) in the past 12 months, or AUD $100 if no fee was paid.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App (or parts of it) without notice if you violate these Terms.
Upon termination, your rights under these Terms also terminate, but any accrued rights or obligations survive.
SCF Church may revise these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes (e.g. via the App or email).
Continued use of the App after changes constitute acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
Any disputes arising in relation to these Terms shall be resolved by negotiation in good faith. If unresolved, by mediation or arbitration, or other legal recourse in the courts of Queensland.
